About this script:

I have written about the premiere of the ballet “Rite of Spring” in a magazine article for Mental Floss, in my book Secret Lives of Great Composers and The Modern Art Invasion. I love this story–the chaos, the people, the whole scene of Paris in 1913–and I have always struggled to convey the true shock of the original performance.

So I decided to tell this story from the point of view of a young American experiencing Paris, modern art, modern dance and modern music for the first time.
